Kahdenkymmenenneljän tunnin mittainen kuukauden aikana kehkeytyvä luuppaava radioteos lähestyy kuuntelua syklisenä ja kiertyvänä prosessina. Teos on sopeutuminen ympäristöön, palaaminen, virittyminen aikaan ja tilaan, virittyminen puiden välissä olevaan ilmaan. Teoksen ensimmäisenä kiertona on muutoksen ja alun ääni, lyhyt hetki jona kuusien oksilta sulava lumi osuu vetenä maata peittävään lumeen. Ensimmäinen osa on äänitetty Mustarindaa ympäröivissä metsissä keväällä 2023. Elokuun kolmannesta päivästä alkaen seuraavan kahdenkymmenenneljän päivän ajan teos kerrostuu päivittäin uudella tunnin pituisella äänityksellä kunnes koko vuorokausi on täynnä elokuisen metsän ääntä, myöhäiskesän, hajoamisen ja lahoamisen alun ääntä. Radioteos luo taustan, metsän pohjan, sammalen, ilman puiden välissä, välisen.

The 24-hour-radio-piece studies listening as a cyclical and looping process in the form of an evolving generative online sound collage. The radio piece is an acclimation, a return, attunement to the time and the place of the old forest, attunement to the air in between the trees. The piece starts with looping the sound recorded in the moment when the snow on the trees of the forest melts into water and the water hits the forest floor still covered with snow, recorded in the forests surrounding Mustarinda in spring of 2023. The first loop presents the short moment of transition, the movement when water changes form. Starting from August 3rd and for the following 24 days, the piece slowly evolves with an hour a day of recordings of the forest. The recorded hour repeats in the time slot when it has been recorded and will be joined by new recordings until the whole cycle of the day is full of August forest sound, the sound of the late summer, the sound of the beginning of the dissolving, the decay. The radio piece creates the background, the forest floor, the moss, the air in between the trees, the in-between.
